As we grow and optimize our operations, we are looking for a dynamic, field-oriented supply chain manager who can strengthen the performance and rigor of our logistics processes. This role is for a high-potential professional with solid technical expertise in supply chain management and a genuine desire to have a tangible impact on day-to-day operations.
The incumbent will play a key role in planning, inventory management, and supplier performance, while working closely with production, sales, and operations to support stable and smooth flows.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop, structure, and improve supply chain processes to support production and respond effectively to customer demand.
- Work proactively in the field with production, logistics, and planning teams to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Implement tools and performance indicators to improve visibility, rigor, and reliability in planning.
- Manage demand planning, inventory levels, and procurement in coordination with sales and production.
- Select, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the quality, competitiveness, and stability of the supply chain.
- Play a leading role in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in the management of projects related to the introduction of new components or the transformation of internal processes.
- Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans to secure the supply chain.
- Perform all other related tasks that promote operational efficiency and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics operations management, supply chain, or related field
- 10 years of relevant experience in planning, procurement, or logistics management in a structured manufacturing environment
- Tangible experience in process improvement, production planning and supplier management;
- Excellent analytical skills and strong proficiency with operational data and ERP systems (advanced SAP knowledge essential, PowerBi an asset).
- Experience in contract negotiation or tendering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel required).
- Proactive attitude, high energy, and a taste for field work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and communicate priorities clearly.
- Bilingualism in French/English (spoken and written).
