Main responsibilities:

• Perform lapping, polishing, washing, and inspection of optical components according to SOP and quality requirements.
• Operate Coating equipment, conduct basic troubleshooting, and ensure process compliance.
• Carry out in-process quality checks and maintain production records.
• Ensure proper handling of optics, housekeeping, and compliance with EHS standards.
• Monitor the coating process and provide essential guidance to coaters attending other machines. 
• Support productivity, yield improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform the spectral measurements according to the required specifications by choosing proper template. 
• Undertake additional production responsibilities as and when required. 

Requirements. 

• Higher Nitec, Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. 
• Min 1-2 year2 of experience with manufacturing industry. 
• Experience in Optics polishing or Thin Film manufacturing will be an advantage. 
• Ability to read, understand and provide training on SOPs, work instructions, technical drawing. 
• Clear understanding of product quality and systems regulations and requirements. 
• Good interpersonal skills and attitude. 
• Flexible to work overtime as required. 
• Must be able to work in rotating shift pattern or 12 hour shift. 
• Proficiency in general Microsoft application including MS word and Excel.
