Our facility in Singapore has key functions in research and development, procurement, sales and finance for our Lighting and Detection business lines, in addition to key functions related to our Optics Manufacturing capabilities.

This site produces optical lenses such as spherical, aspherical and plano optics, with large machine shop capabilities and expertise in optical coating and assembly. Our photonic products and solutions serve a wide range of markets and applications in the areas of medicine, life science, industrial manufacturing, defense and aerospace, as well as research and development. 
 

We are presently seeking Technician (Machine Shop) that will support the team to fulfill customer's expectations. 

Main responsibilities:

• Create and follow standard CMM program for inspect components and perform CMM set up and operation for various programs. 
• Maintain and update exisiting CMM programs in the server.
• Complies with all company rules, policies and procedures. 
• Inspect the production and first-article parts according to the drawing. 
• Work with Engineers to troubleshoot inspection methods. 
• Interpret blueprints, work instructions and specifications. 
• Read and follow relevant work instruction and SOP. 
• Support new methods and concepts for improvement program. 
• Ensure compliance to all safety procedures and report to Section Leader for all unsafe conditions. 

Requirements:

• GCE ’N’ Level  or  Technical Certificate and above.
• Working knowledge of a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) with min 3 years experience. 
• Able to read and write English. 
• Able to operate CMM machine and read CMM reports. 
• Experience in the operation and programming of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines). 
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance desirable. 
• Using of measurement equipment, Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, Profile Projector, Smart Scope etc.
