Our facility in Singapore has key functions in research and development, procurement, sales and finance for our Lighting and Detection business lines, in addition to key functions related to our Optics Manufacturing capabilities.

This site produces optical lenses such as spherical, aspherical and plano optics, with large machine shop capabilities and expertise in optical coating and assembly. Our photonic products and solutions serve a wide range of markets and applications in the areas of medicine, life science, industrial manufacturing, defense and aerospace, as well as research and development. 

We are presently seeking Store Assistant that will support the team to fulfill customer's expectations. 

Main responsibilities:

1. Handle all goods receipt operations, including verification of quantities and condition of incoming materials.
2. Perform system transactions for goods receipt and issuance in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Issue parts and materials to production based on approved requests or job orders.
4. Ensure inventory accuracy through proper labelling, storage, and cycle count activities.
5. Maintain 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) in all warehouse areas.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized working environment.
7. Assist in monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.

Requirements:

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Operations, or related field.
• Certificate in Warehouse/ Logistics or related fields.
• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse/store operations preferred (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or ERP software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and material handling practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge in SAP is an advantage.
• Forklift License.
• Familiar with 5S and safety practices in warehouse environments.
• Team player with a responsible and positive attitude.
