Main responsibilities:

• Ensure all tasks are comply to company procedural requirements, Quality, Environmental and Health standards (ISO 9001, AS9100D, ISO 14001, ISO45001) and Customer Specific requirements.
• Assist QA Engineer/Manager on the following
     - Verify newly established Inspection Plan vs Drawing Specification
     - Report if found any discrepancy on part drawing.
     - Recommend methods or techniques of inspection 
• Maintain completeness and correctness of IQA Inspections documents, reports and records.
• Liaise with Section in-charge for any clarification related to works and seek help to solve the issues on daily basis.
• Update and ensure accuracy of SAP Result Recording and SAP Usage Decision making. 
• Verification of Inspection Report (ATR) and/or Inspection Plan (IP).
• Regular response to email queries and action request.
• Liaise with Section in-charge, other Section Leaders, Customer Quality and Process Engineer for technical clarification.
• Undertake additional QA responsibilities as and when required.
• Maintain House Keeping and Time (Lunch and Tea Break).
• Liaise with maintenance and calibration departments to ensure proper maintenance of measuring equipment and other small equipment (Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, etc), and monitor the calibration status. 
• Additional task for Senior QA Technician 
     1) Training of new technician/inspector and maintaining quality records as per customer requirement. 
     2) Communicate to supplier for part quality and documentation issue.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma or equivalent .
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Manufacturing industry.  
• Preferred experience in Optics or Precision Machining industry.
•  Ability to read and understand procedures, drawings and technical specifications to carry out the require inspection.
• Clear understanding of good documentation practices and quality system regulations and requirements.
• Proficency in general Microsoft application including MS Word and Excel. 
• Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Good leadership skills and ability to suggest change.
• Knowledge of and adherence to quality system.
• Substantial understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work. 
• Using of Optics measurement equipment (Interferometer, Coating Spectrophotometer) or Mechanical measurement equipment (Smart Scope, Profile Projector) and other small equipment (Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator etc)
