We are presently seeking a Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist who will support the development and implementation of digital marketing programs and initiatives across various technological sectors and markets, encompassing all aspects of Excelitas' business. This role requires a solid understanding of best practices and strategies in digital marketing including web, email marketing and marketing automation, Search Engine Optimization, and social media as well as providing hands-on support to enhance the effectiveness of digital marketing activities. The Specialist will act as a liaison and collaborate closely with the marketing team, relevant agencies, and other key stakeholders.This position offers flexibility in location. The successful candidate can be based anywhere in North America, with the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones.

 

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the execution of global digital marketing campaigns in alignment with the annual marketing plan and adapt to emerging opportunities. Ensure programs are strategically designed to effectively showcase the organization’s products and capabilities across relevant digital channels to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and qualified lead generation.
  • Lead and manage the planning, development, and execution of digital marketing programs across channels— websites, SEO/PPC, email marketing and automation, social media—collaborating with stakeholders to drive maximum marketing impact and effectiveness.
  • Plan, develop, and execute targeted email and nurture campaigns, including audience segmentation, content development, and performance analysis to increase engagement and drive conversions.
  • Support lead management processes and marketing automation workflows to ensure effective lead nurturing, prompt sales follow-up, and optimized conversions throughout the customer journey.
  • Content creation and optimization of website content in coordination with key stakeholders to improve user experience, SEO performance, and lead generation while ensuring content accuracy and brand/voice consistency.
  • Coordinate and support social media activities and day-to-day execution in collaboration with the marketing team and external agency to ensure strategic alignment and timely execution across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and Facebook). Monitor performance, provide recommendations, and optimize content to maximize engagement.
  • Continuously monitor and apply digital marketing best practices and performance insights to optimize strategies across web, email, lead nurturing, social media, and paid search channels.
  • Develop familiarity and efficiency within all digital marketing platforms:
    • CMS Platform (Drupal)
    • Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio
    • Account Engagement/ Marketing Cloud
    • Translation Management System & Processes 
    • Product Information Management System (PIM)
    • Salesforce
  • Interface with external agencies and other vendors to ensure successful completion of digital marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Occasional travel will be required
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, within a corporate environment
  • University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Hands-on experience with a marketing automation platform/Email platform (Account Engagement is an asset).
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, SEO/PPC, and social media. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
  • Technical aptitude and an understanding of products and markets being served and translating them into tangible and compelling value propositions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in concept development, strategic creativity and content creation.
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing channels and campaign execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive and ability to work well in a teamwork environment.
  • Proven experience working within a corporate B2B environment, and with product marketing strategies and execution.
