The Excelitas facility in Kleinostheim, Germany has key positions in Research & Development, Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, and other administrative functions. This facility specializes in the production of infrared emitters for industrial process technology, particularly for heat treatment and drying in a wide range of industries such as automotive, coating, plastics, textiles, food, printing, and glass. Additionally, this site houses a modern application competence center that conducts practical tests with customer materials and laboratory simulations of specific processes to determine the optimal process solution.

What to expect: 

• You will manufacture components from quartz glass using basic glassblowing techniques, particularly bending, welding, fusing and cutting.
• You will independently coordinate the assigned tasks.
• You will operate glassblowing lathes and glass-forming machines with confidence and expertise.
• You will be responsible for repairing glass apparatus and components.
• You will prepare, plan and carry out work independently based on defined work specifications, technical drawings and sketches.
• You will be personally responsible for ensuring the quality of your work and work processes.

What you bring to the table: 

• Completed vocational training as a glass apparatus maker (m/f/d)
• Experience in manual and machine-based glass processing
• Exceptional dexterity in handling quartz glass
• High level of motivation and commitment to quality in your own work
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new areas of work
• Independent and communicative personality
• Reliable and dedicated work ethic
• Willingness to work shifts
