Your Tasks

• Mapping and maintaining production processes in SAP R/3 (MM, PP, QM, CO) for the assembly of mechanical-optical systems in cleanroom environments for serial products and repair operations, including the creation and maintenance of material masters, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, work centers, inspection plans, master inspection characteristics, quality control charts, and manufacturing cost calculations

• Planning and costing of assembly processes for prototype builds as part of the product development process

• Monitoring product launches, production ramp-ups, and engineering change requests

• Providing process engineering support for the handling of customer inquiries and the preparation of quotations

• Supporting the calibration and monitoring of inspection and measuring equipment used on the assembly line

• Analyzing and correcting manufacturing cost variances

Your Profile

• Technician qualification or completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field, combined with several years of experience in production planning and work preparation/manufacturing engineering

• Good knowledge of optical metrology and optical manufacturing technologies, particularly assembly technologies, including assembly under cleanroom conditions

• Experience in manufacturing cost calculation and product costing

• Proven project experience with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

• Business-oriented mindset with strong implementation skills and the ability to drive results

• Strong decision-making skills as well as excellent analytical and conceptual thinking abilities

• High level of resilience and a disciplined, structured approach to work

• Advanced SAP knowledge, particularly in the PP, MM, QM, and CO modules

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and good command of English
