Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

Your Responsibilities:

• Processing various optical components using all necessary machines and tools

• Independently performing and evaluating quality inspections

• Carrying out all measurements and tests during the manufacturing process

• Documenting and ensuring traceability of measurement results

• Complying with all occupational health and safety regulations

• Cleaning, maintaining, and servicing machines and tools according to maintenance schedules

Your Profile:

• Completed training as a precision optician or a comparable qualification

• Basic IT skills, particularly in MS Office and SAP

• Strong technical understanding and spatial awareness

• Independent, careful, and responsible way of working

• High level of quality awareness and reliability
