Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assembly and bonding of optical systems (e.g., achromats and beam splitters) according to work instructions and technical drawings using appropriate tools

 

  • Cleaning and visual inspection of optical components

 

  • Performing PNI cleaning processes

 

  • Cleanroom packaging of optical components

 

  • Processing bookings and documentation in the ERP system (SAP)

 

  • Independent warehouse management and organization

 

  • Participation in 6S and continuous improvement (KVP) activities

 

  • Independent quality inspection and assessment

 

  • Supporting development projects

 

  • Flexibility and willingness to work across different areas

 

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training as a precision optician or a comparable qualification

 

  • Strong technical understanding and ability to read and interpret technical drawings

 

  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP

 

  • High level of manual dexterity and fine motor skills

 

  • Proficiency in MS Office

 

  • Experience in handling chemicals is an advantage

 

  • Quick comprehension, motivation, and strong team spirit
