Your Tasks

 

  • Evaluate customer requests for optical coatings and complex optical components from a technical perspective

 

  • Develop, analyze, and simulate complex optical components for advanced optical systems and modules

 

  • Design and optimize optical components to meet performance and quality requirements

 

  • Develop new manufacturing methods and processes in the areas of polishing, cleaning, coating, fine cementing, and optical bonding

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optics, Photonics, Physics, or a related field

 

  • Several years of experience in the development of complex optical components

 

  • Knowledge of optical glass processing as well as cleaning, coating, cementing, and bonding processes

 

  • Experience with optical design and simulation tools (e.g., Zemax) and optical metrology equipment

 

  • Understanding of optical performance specifications and evaluation methods

 

  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

 

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
