Tasks

• Conducting incoming goods inspections, measurements for in-process monitoring, and outgoing inspections/final qualifications in accordance with specifications

• Reviewing and evaluating supplier reports; documenting and archiving measurement results

• Use, manage, and program existing measuring and testing equipment—e.g., roughness measuring instruments, 3D coordinate measuring machines, handheld measuring devices

• Assist with the monitoring, management, calibration, maintenance, and upkeep of the machine, measuring, and testing equipment pool

• Prepare non-conformance reports and initiate complaints as needed

Profile

• Completed vocational training in a technical field – ideally with further training as a technician or master craftsman

• Experience working with conventional measuring and testing equipment – ideally also experience with 3D coordinate measuring machines

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering and relevant standards

• Proficiency with MS Office applications

• Willingness to work shifts
