Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

 

 

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate all operational maintenance activities

 

  • Lead and develop the maintenance team, both technically and professionally

 

  • Prevent operational disruptions and downtime through effective maintenance strategies

 

  • Manage costs and budget responsibilities within the maintenance area

 

  • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and compliance with safety regulations and inspection deadlines

 

  • Support troubleshooting, work plan creation, spare parts procurement, and master data management

 

  • Actively participate in maintenance tasks as needed

 

Your Profile

 

  • Completed vocational training in maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, or electrical engineering; further qualification as a master technician or equivalent is required. Certification as a Maintenance Manager (CMM) is a plus

 

  • Several years of professional experience in production site maintenance, including initial leadership experience

 

  • Familiarity with SAP PM-based maintenance management and preventive maintenance concepts such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

 

  • Strong technical knowledge in electronics, control systems, drives, general machinery, and building technology; familiarity with production processes, management systems, and relevant safety regulations

 

  • Confident in using MS Office and SAP

 

  • Excellent communication skills, organizational talent, team orientation, high initiative, and enthusiasm for tackling new technical challenges
