Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

Your Responsibilities

• Strategic production planning in close collaboration with the relevant customer segments, taking capital and scheduling requirements into account

• Logistical support for new projects, including material management to ensure availability and delivery capability, as well as on‑time and quantity‑accurate scheduling and production control

• Close cooperation with business segments to develop delivery scenarios, including coordination with other international production sites

• Acting as the central logistics contact (national and international) and serving as an interface for coordination with internal departments and other manufacturing plants

• Defining and monitoring logistics performance KPIs, both internally and for customers

Your Profile

• Degree in engineering or business administration, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in production planning

• Extensive (international) experience in production planning, procurement, and logistics processes

• Strong business and economic knowledge in the field of materials management

• Ability to understand complex workflows and processes, paired with a structured and solution‑oriented working style

• High level of flexibility, resilience, assertiveness, and implementation strength

• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset

• Very good SAP knowledge and user competence

• Excellent German and English language skills

• Willingness to travel
