Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

Your responsibilities:

• You are responsible within the infrastructure service area for installation, assembly, and modification work related to utility supply systems and infrastructure in a production environment

• You are also responsible for commissioning and documenting completed work

• You carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing of infrastructure and utility systems as required

• You support the maintenance team in servicing, repairing, and maintaining production machines and equipment

Your profile:

• You have completed vocational training as a plant mechanic (anlagenmechaniker) or have a comparable qualification, along with relevant professional experience

• You are familiar with the current state of the art in utility supply and infrastructure systems

• You have solid knowledge of building services engineering, installation technology, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics; confident handling of machine tools is required

• You demonstrate a high level of responsibility, teamwork, and an independent, structured, and careful working style

• You are willing and flexible to work shifts, weekends, and on-call duties; ideally, you are located near Göttingen
