Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

 Responsibilities:

• Higher production volumes drive an increased need for operating resources

• Transfers to second-source coating machines create a demand for new operating resources

• Support of internal transport to reduce scrap (e.g., thermoforming of PET inlays)

Your Profile:

• Technical degree with relevant professional experience

• Extensive knowledge in the field of design

• Strong understanding of complex technical processes

• CAD skills, specifically with Siemens NX

• Experience in Six Sigma project work

• High level of communication skills and strong team orientation

• Very good written and spoken English skills

• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
