Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

Required Responsibilities

• Perform incoming and outgoing inspections of optics and optical components

• Conduct in-process inspections and production-related quality monitoring during the manufacturing of optics and optical components

• Carry out first article inspections as required

• Provide support to warehouse operations when needed

• Participate in annual inventory processes

• Collect data and provide input for the preparation of acceptance test reports (ATR) for optical products

• Provide materials for production orders as required

• Maintain, apply, and continuously improve inspection plans

• Prepare non-conformance reports (NCR), quality notifications, and handle customer complaints

Required Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of technical optics

• Experience with manufacturing processes for optical components

• Familiarity with DIN ISO 10110 standards

• Knowledge of relevant measurement tools and systems

• Understanding of standard inspection procedures in the field of optics

• Good IT skills, particularly in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, and Teams
