Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical tests and measurements (e.g. titration, photometry, tensiometry, air quality measurements)

• Monitor and control technical parameters of cleaning systems

• Maintain and manage data related to hazardous substances and material compliance (e.g. Excel, SAP)

• Prepare risk assessments and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for hazardous substances

• Organize and coordinate waste management processes (including waste balance documentation)

• Perform general administrative tasks

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or a comparable qualification (e.g. BTA, laboratory technician)

• Ideally, practical experience in instrumental analysis

• Very good knowledge of MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage

• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

• Careful, structured and independent working style

• Team player with a high level of reliability and sense of responsibility
