To support our design team, we are looking for a committed working student or intern to develop a central standard parts list for standard and purchased parts.
The prerequisite is enrollment in a current degree program.

The position is available as a working student position (with valid enrollment certificate) or as a mandatory internship. A mandatory internship must have a minimum duration of 4 months – with the prospect of continuing the project as a working student afterwards.

Your tasks:

• Creation of a company-wide standard parts list for standard and purchased parts
• Review and analysis of standard and purchased part data in the PDM system
• Structuring and categorizing the data in an existing Excel list (e.g., by standard, geometry, material, area of application)
• Developing criteria for identifying redundant entries
• Marking redundant parts in the Excel table
• Working closely with the design team to validate the data
• Assisting in removing redundant data from the PDM in collaboration with the design team

What you bring to the table:

• Current studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable technical field of study
• Good basic understanding of physics and technology
• Basic knowledge of standard technical parts (e.g., DIN/ISO screws, nuts, bearings, seals, etc.)
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical thinking skills
• Structured and careful way of working
• Very good German skills and good English skills
