At our Excelitas site in Feldkirchen, we develop and produce highly complex optomechatronic components, assemblies and systems.

Our solutions lead, for example, to better medical treatment and more accurate diagnostics, further developments in the market for smartphones and display technology, reliable and robust solutions in the aerospace sector, and the development of completely new applications and areas of application.

In addition, the site is the centre of excellence for high-precision mechanics, the assembly of highly specialised components and diamond turning.

Your main responsibilities:

• Production of high‑quality and precise surfaces using the GS process with our manual anodizing system
• Quality control of coated parts
• Monitoring, documentation, and optimization of our surface-coating processes and procedures
• Communicating and ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations, accident-prevention guidelines, and environmentally responsible handling of hazardous waste
• Acting as deputy for the Surface Processing Supervisor during absences (vacation or sick leave)
• Advising internal and external customers regarding technical feasibility and presenting technical alternatives
• Preparing components for shipment
• Participating in improvement projects and Excelitas production system initiatives (6S, CIP, Six Sigma)

Your profile:

• Vocational training as an electroplater, surface coater, machine and plant operator, chemical technician, or similar, with relevant professional experience
• Experience with the GS process (anodizing) and with chromating aluminum
• Strong technical understanding, manual skills, and a very accurate way of working
• High level of resilience, reliability, and quality awareness
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
