CNC Turner / Machinist (f/m/d)

Main responsibilities:

• Manufacturing complex and highly precise turned/milled parts from aluminum, stainless steel, and other materials
• Independent setup and production on CNC turning/milling centers
• Presetting, setting up, and processing production orders according to work plans and drawings
• Tool monitoring and program corrections
• Independent performance of necessary inspection tasks (worker self-inspection)
• Confident handling of CNC lathes, including maintenance according to the maintenance schedule and operating instructions
• Operation of multiple machines
• Ancillary work such as deburring, drilling, reaming, thread cutting, etc.
• Collaboration on improvement projects
  
   

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a cutting machine operator or CNC lathe operator
• Several years of professional experience in the field of CNC turning—including with driven tools and CNC turning and milling centers
• Experience with long lathes desirable
• Confident use of measuring and testing equipment
• Knowledge of Siemens 840C and 840D as well as Fanuc CNC controls is an advantage
• Willingness to work in a two shift system
• Independent and customer-oriented approach to work, high degree of teamwork skills
• Good written and spoken German
