Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.

We are presently seeking for a Facilities Technician who shall maintenance and repair on buildings, grounds, and equipment, ensuring the facility functions smoothly and safely.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operation and Maintenance of major Facilities electrical equipment, such as Gensets, LVS, MTS, and Transformers. Support in the operation and monitoring of mechanical equipment such as ACCU, CDA, and De-Ionized water system.
• Troubleshooting and repair of facilities equipment such as motors and electromechanical controls.
• Perform various building maintenance, building wiring, and other restoration projects.
• Coordination and monitoring of 3rd party service providers, and contractors in project execution.
• Operation and maintenance of environmental process control of Environmental, Health and Safety.
• In-house fabrication and equipment utilities installation.
• Support and assist production operation and other function groups in providing facilities utilities requirements.
• Assist and oversee building contractors and personnel ensuring adherence to safety policy of Excelitas Technologies Phils. Inc.
• Able to interpret building electrical diagrams, and design building electrical requirement for new project.

Requirements:

• Engineering graduate or 2 years Technical or vocational graduate
• Registered Master Electrician (advantage) or Registered Electrical Engineer (advantage) or TESDA NC3 Certification (advantage)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years work experience in Facilities engineering, Manufacturing plant, and building Maintenance of multi-dwelling.
• Must have adequate knowledge of electrical safety and standards of Building Wiring, Motor Control, Electronics, and Programmable Logic Control.
• Must be trainable, resourceful, high in teamwork and with SAFETY mindset.
• Basic Knowledge in refrigeration and air conditioning, Basic welding, De-ionized is an advantage.
