Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.

We are presently seeking for Quality Assurance Engineer who shall be the overall lead in complying to customer specific requirements for Leadframe components, – works with Apps Engr, CSR, Sales and Operations. 

Main Responsibilities: 

• Overall lead in complying to customer specific requirements for Leadframe components, – works with Apps Engr, CSR, Sales and Operations.
• Generate resolutions to customer returns, complaints, and request through technical reports thru 8D.
• Process RMA and credit note issuance through close coordination with Planning, Finance, Sales, and CSR.
• Supervises QA Inspectors and oversees technical and quality issues in production line.
• Continuously improve QA performance metrics from Customer & internal Escapees.
• Performs System and Process Audits.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor of Science on any of these Engineering fields: ECE, EE, ME, ChE or other related courses Applied Physics or Material Science.
• Preferred 3-5 yrs experience as Line QA or customer relation engr. Knowledge on failure analysis is a plus.
• Knowledgeable on 6 sigma tools, 8D methodology, and AECQ standards.
• Knowledgeable of automotive core tools: PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA & SPC
• Excellent communication skills both oral and writing
• Trained or with hands-on experience on ISO9001/14001 and IATF16949 QS.
• Excellent in English both oral and written.
• MBA grad is a plus.
• Preferably with experience in optoelectronics components assembly.
• Hard working, Team player, Critical thinker, Results Oriented, Fast Learner and Agile.
