Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.
We are presently seeking for Process Engineer who will support in the set-up of Aimpoint COA_LED in Manila during product transfer. This new Process Engineer will be the one sustaining the line once it is approved for full production.
Main Responsibilities:
- Will work with Project Aimpoint Core Team in setting-up machines, processes and materials for Aimpoint COA_LED product transfer from Feldkirchen.
- After full qualification of Aimpoint production in Manila, he/she will:
- Continue the optimization of the new line
- Will lead Value Engineering and applicable materials localization projects
- Will work hand-in-hand with Production Team in sustaining process and equipment requirements of the product.
- Will also help QA in resolving issues related to quality and reliability of the product
Requirements:
- Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or BS Physics
- Experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing is an advantage but not required.
- Will accept fresh graduate with good scholastic record
- Must know how to read and follow instructions and procedures
- Computer literate
- Should know how to interpret engineering drawings; Technical Data Sheets, Laboratory Reports, i.e. FTIR, EDS, AES, etc.
- Must know how to statistically design and conduct experiments
- Must know how to communicate with colleagues, Superiors and Engineers
- Has positive work attitude and a keen observer
- Versatile and fast learner. Must have positive disposition, good leadership skills and results oriented
Other Requirements:
- Willing to render overtime when needed
- Willing to be cross trained to other process stations for flexibility
- Experience in optoelectronics components assembly and application will be a plus
- Can handle work related pressure
