Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.

We are presently seeking for Facilities Technician, who shall be responsible for the operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of facility systems and equipment, including mechanical and electrical utilities, to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Conduct routine inspection, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical facilities and equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of facility and production equipment.

• Operate and maintain utility systems, including generator sets, air conditioning units, chillers, deionized water systems, wastewater treatment systems, electrical distribution systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Carry out installation, modification, and repair works related to facilities, equipment, and building infrastructure.
• Coordinate with contractors and support project planning, development, and implementation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and accomplishment reports.
• Support safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements: 

•  Must be a graduate of a 2-year vocational course related to Electrical or Mechanical disciplines
• Preferably with TESDA NC Accreditation
• At least 5 years’ hands-on solid experience in Facilities operations and maintenance of industrial/manufacturing facility
• Knowledgeable and skilled in operations, maintenance and improvement of HVAC, CDA, FDAS, Fire Pro, RODI, wastewater, UPS, Genset, Plumbing, Building maintenance
• Responsible, collaborative, customer focused and works well with teammates
• Willing to work overtime, during holidays and long hours
