The Excelitas facility in Alzenau, Germany has key positions in Research & Development, Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, and other administrative functions. This facility specializes in the production of infrared emitters for industrial process technology, particularly for heat treatment and drying in a wide range of industries such as automotive, coating, plastics, textiles, food, printing, and glass. Additionally, this site houses a modern application competence center that conducts practical tests with customer materials and laboratory simulations of specific processes to determine the optimal process solution

What you can expect:

• You will oversee our products – such as industrial drying systems, LED systems and other bespoke systems – through every stage of development, right up to final acceptance by the customer.
• This involves working closely with colleagues from Sales, Project Planning and Development, as well as with our customers.
• Your responsibilities will include drawing up technical specifications and defining delivery terms for subcontracted work.
• In addition, you will play a key role in product maintenance.

What you bring to the role:

• You hold a degree in mechanical engineering or have completed a technical apprenticeship, as well as several years’ professional experience in sheet metal construction for industrial heating or drying systems.
• Proficiency in standard MS Office programmes and 3D CAD software, ideally Autodesk Inventor, is essential.
• Prior experience with SAP, particularly the ECTR application, is desirable.
• A structured and results-oriented approach to work, combined with a high degree of initiative, characterises the role.
• The ability to work as part of a team, proactivity and a sense of personal responsibility round off the profile.
• An independent and conscientious approach to work is also required.
• A high level of analytical thinking is essential.
• Confident written and spoken German and English complete the profile.
